- The wax is brought to a temperature of 120°C to 140°C
- The drops of wax are evenly distributed over the base and "ironed" in such a way that an even layer is created on the base without any pressure
- The wax is then cooled at room temperature until it is hard
- Excess wax is removed from the pavement with the scraper in the direction of travel
- The structure of the covering is brushed freely again with a copper brush
- Finally, the base is polished with a soft cloth
